Enjoying the Snow!

As most of you know, this year has not been a very snowy year, so on the rare occasion we get snow, mommies make sure to take me outside to enjoy it!  We love to take walks around the yard and run around on the frozen ponds.  As soon as we get close to the pond, I generally start yelling "hot dog!  hot dog!" because I think the cat tails around the pond look like hot dogs and I love to carry them around.  Last week we even made a snowman and used "hot dogs" for his arms and nose.

Giving the snowman a hug.

Leaning in to give him a kiss.  :)

School is Exhausting!

Mommy picks me up each day from school at around 12:15, right after lunch.  Normally, this is when the rest of my friends for school go down for a nap, but instead of napping at school, I go home and take my nap in my bed.  Thanks to all of the fun and excitement I'm exposed to at school each day, it's rare for me to even make it home before falling asleep in the car.  So most days  Mommy carries a sleeping Maggie into the house, she props me up on the table to take off my coat and shoes, then she lays me down.  Lately I've been SO tired that I won't even sit up when she's getting me ready for bed, so this is what our new routine looks like.  :)

Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day was last week, and it was so much fun!  It started with a party at school.  I had a blast and was able to give and receive lots of fun valentine's with my friends.  After that, I celebrated Valentine's at home with my mommies.  I must have been pretty sweet this year because mommies definitely spoiled me!  I got a new Dora DVD for the car, some gummy worms, and the most exciting gift of all was a new big girl bike!!  Mommies can't believe how quickly I've picked up riding a bike, and they can't wait until spring when they can move the bike outside and we can go for (short) bike rides together!

Excited about my new Dora DVD!

I love it!

Moving on to Bigger, Better Things!

It seems like just a few weeks ago I was writing a post about how much better I've been getting at riding my tricycle.  Well, while I still love riding my trike, I've started to set my sights on bigger things - an actual bike!  Whenever we go to a store that have bikes, I sprint over to them and start pointing, screaming "bike! bike!" and bouncing up and down when I see them.  Mommies weren't sure if I would be able to actually ride one, but I proved them wrong!!  I can now be found at various stores biking up and down the aisles!  Here's a video mommies made of me today at Wal Mart.  They can't believe how quickly I'm growing up!

Bowling with my Cousins

Yesterday Mommy took me to New Richmond to go bowling with my cousins!  We had a great time bowling, snacking, and running around!  It was a great activity to do on a freezing cold February day!  After bowling, we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner and to exchange Valentine's.  I ended up staying up until almost 9:00 last night.  Crazy Saturday night for this kid!

I did it!

Bowling like such a big girl!

Taking a break from bowling to say hi to my cousin Luca!

Enjoying some snacks!  Mini corn dogs were my favorite!

Checking out the arcade games with Grace and Cal.

After bowling, we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and everyone had brought Valentine's!  (well, everyone but me ... nice one, Mommies!)

Mmmm.... Valentine's candy!

Fun Visit to Camp Snoopy!

Last weekend Mommies took me to Camp Snoopy to go on some rides!  I was instantly in awe when we walked into the park because Dora the Explorer was everywhere!  Not sure if I've mentioned it yet, but I have become completely obssessed with Dora and ask to watch the show all the time!

We ended up staying at the park for a couple of hours, and went on tons of rides!  My two favorites were the Diego bus ride and also this small roller coaster that Mommy said brought out the cutest belly laugh in me every time we'd make a sharp turn around the corner.  Unfortunately, 36" is the minimum height required to go on the log ride and some of the other fun ones, and while I'm 36" with my pony tail, apparently that doesn't count.  (we know this because Mommy tried - she just knew I'd love the log ride and thought it was worth a shot!)

Admiring the HUGE Dora statue!

We started with this one as a warm up before the more exciting rides!  You can't see it, but I insisted on riding the one that looked like a pig.

This one was one of my favorites!
