Bowling with my Cousins

Yesterday Mommy took me to New Richmond to go bowling with my cousins!  We had a great time bowling, snacking, and running around!  It was a great activity to do on a freezing cold February day!  After bowling, we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner and to exchange Valentine's.  I ended up staying up until almost 9:00 last night.  Crazy Saturday night for this kid!

I did it!

Bowling like such a big girl!

Taking a break from bowling to say hi to my cousin Luca!

Enjoying some snacks!  Mini corn dogs were my favorite!

Checking out the arcade games with Grace and Cal.

After bowling, we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and everyone had brought Valentine's!  (well, everyone but me ... nice one, Mommies!)

Mmmm.... Valentine's candy!

Playing with Lauren's Leap Frog LeapPad.

Fun Visit to Camp Snoopy!

Last weekend Mommies took me to Camp Snoopy to go on some rides!  I was instantly in awe when we walked into the park because Dora the Explorer was everywhere!  Not sure if I've mentioned it yet, but I have become completely obssessed with Dora and ask to watch the show all the time!

We ended up staying at the park for a couple of hours, and went on tons of rides!  My two favorites were the Diego bus ride and also this small roller coaster that Mommy said brought out the cutest belly laugh in me every time we'd make a sharp turn around the corner.  Unfortunately, 36" is the minimum height required to go on the log ride and some of the other fun ones, and while I'm 36" with my pony tail, apparently that doesn't count.  (we know this because Mommy tried - she just knew I'd love the log ride and thought it was worth a shot!)

Admiring the HUGE Dora statue!

We started with this one as a warm up before the more exciting rides!  You can't see it, but I insisted on riding the one that looked like a pig.

Me and Mommy on the hot air balloon ride.

This one was one of my favorites!

Pretty Nails!

Mommy decided to buy some nailpolish for me today to make my nails nice and pretty.  They weren't sure if I would be scared, but I definitely wasn't and have been running the house all day talking about how "pretty" my nails look.  They're not quite sure how they ended up with such a girly girl who loves to have her nails painted and play dress-up, but somehow they did!  (and they love me for it!!)  :)

Pretty nails make me happy!

Beautiful!

Checking them out!

Spending the day with my cousin Cal!

We recently watched Cal for the day.  It was so much fun and he was a really good boy!  I had to learn a few lessons about "sharing" early in his visit, but I quickly got over it and began to share all of my toys with him and we played really well together.  We both played, napped, and played some more!  The highlight of the day was when I took Cal for a ride on my tricycle.  Mommies can't decide if he liked that or not, but he didn't seem to mind.  He's such a cute, funny little guy!

Pushing Cal around on my Pooh Train!  (one of my favorite toys when I was his age)

Cal being silly.

Cal fell asleep on Mommy before she had the pack 'n play set up, so she set him down on the chair to set up the pack 'n play and he stayed sleeping.  :)

Happy girl playing wtih my tricycle.

My First Trip to the Children's Museum!

I'm not sure what took mommies so long, but we finally took our first trip the Children's Museum in St. Paul.  It is such a fun, educational place!  Mommies couldn't believe how much cool stuff they had, and the best part was that I was old enough for almost all of it!  We did so much fun stuff while we were there, but it's such a big place, that I'm sure we missed some activities!  Rather than write it all out for you, I'll let the pictures tell the story of all of the exhibits we visited!

Sitting on the table at the pretend doctor's office.

Picking up some produce at the grocery store.

Pushing my cart around.

Painting with textured paints.

One of my beautiful pieces of art work.

Making paper.

Showing off my paper.

Strong girl moving boulders!!

Playing with bubbles at one of the water tables.  This was probably one of my favorites parts of the museum.

Checking out the latest exhibit - I can't remember what it was called, but it was all about gross bodily functions like snot and burps and what causes them.  I found this to be pretty hilarious.  (and so did mommies, of course!)

They have a really fun area for younger kids, so we spent a lot of time here climbing around and going down all of the slides.

Stopping to pose for a picture.  Mommy thinks I look so old in this one!

Going down the slide at the beaver dam.

Being cute crawling through the ant tunnels.

Go Packers ... sort of. :(

A couple of weeks ago, the Nelsons came over to watch the Packers play in play-offs.  The good news is we all had a great time together.  The bad news?  The Packers lost.   :(  Such a shame to end a great season that way after winning the whole thing last year!  Regardless, the girls and I had lots of fun playing with my kitchen, my bike and my other toys.  We're already looking forward to next fall and more Packer parties with the Nelsons!

Our parents sat us on the couch together for a picture, and we all immediately held hands.  So cute!

Doesn't take much to get me to smile for the camera!  :)

Playing with my Stamps from Aunt Lissa and Uncle Kevin

One of the many wonderful presents I received for Christmas this year was a stamp set from Aunt Lissa and Uncle Kevin.  I love playing with my stamps!  They're all different animals, and I have a lot of fun putting different colored stamps all over the paper.  (and occasionally on myself and on the furniture...)  :)  In addition to the stamps, they got me some instruments and also finger paints.  (so far mommies are too chicken to let me use the finger paints, but it's going to be a long winter, so I'm sure they'll give in one of these days!!)

Cheese!

Deep in concentration.

I love my stamps!

Checking for Eggs!

Earlier this week, Mommy and I headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's to hang out while the weather was so nice.  While I was there, I ran around, played in the mud, had to change clothes as a result of playing in the mud, and right before we left I went into the chicken coop to check for eggs!  I was so excited to find some!!

Checking for eggs.

Found one!

Marching to the Beat of my Own Drum

Although Santa brought me my drum/music set over a year ago for Christmas, it has been one of my new favorite toys to play with lately.  And I make sure that the music making is a family affair by "asking"  (Mommy says "telling") mommies to play other instruments with me while I bang on the drum.  Mommy even showed me how to put the drum around my neck so I can take my show all over the house now.  What a treat.  :)

Playing the drum with my wild hair!

Really getting into it!

Tubing at Badlands Snopark!

On Saturday, Mommies and I piled on our snow gear and headed to Badlands Snopark for some winter fun in the snow!  (I guess I should specify it was "man-made snow"!)

Mommies weren't entirely sure what I'd think, but of course I loved it!  I had my own little tube and loved to go fast and spin around!  After we mastered the bunny hill, mommies ditched my tube and started taking me down the bigger hills on their lap.  That part was SO much fun!  Other than the fact that I did get a little cold and needed to go into the chalet to warm up, I was a champ!  Mommies can't wait to take me there again soon!

Quick break to warm up before heading back out to the hills!

Tubing in action....
