Teddy’s 2 Week Check

Teddy had some issues gaining weight in the beginning.  His first couple weeks of life all he wanted to do was sleep—this might be the result of being 3 weeks early.  He was very drowsy and lethargic most of the time.  This meant he wasn't eating as frequently or as much as he probably should have been.  When he was born he was 7lb 15oz.  When we left the hospital he was 7lb 8oz.  2 days later at the doctor he was 7 lb 7oz.  At one week he was down to 7lb 4 oz.  Luckily he started to wake up and decided to start catching up before his 2 week check up.  While he still wasn't up to his birth weight, he was starting to head in the right direction.  I am certain the little peanut is growing now; he seems so much bigger and older with each passing day.  I can’t wait for his 2 month appointment to see his new stats.

Teddy’s 2 week stats:

Weight: 7lb 10oz
Length: 20 ¾”

He looks so cute in his little Teddy hat from Grandma McNamara

The entire family went to his 2 week check.  Some of the doctors and nurses wanted to meet Teddy and the other kids afterwards so it made sense to bring everyone with.  It was a little chaotic.  A family of 5 doesn't sound that big until you put us all in a tiny room.

He pretty much slept through the appointment.  He is so mellow compared to his older bro.

Maggie was a perfect little girl for the most part...Tommy on the other hand...ended up going to the van with Mommy Susie. :)
