St. Croix County Fair

This weekend marked one of my favorite events of the summer - the St. Croix County Fair!  Luckily, the fair is only about 10 minutes from our house, we we made a couple trips there this year.  On Friday, we met up with the Nelsons and had dinner together and went on rides together.  Aftin was my little ride buddy - we went on a bunch of them!  Before we met up with the Nelsons, mommies and I headed to the fair early so I could check out the animals and ride the ponies.  (the highlight for me!)  The 4H show choir was also performing both times we went, and I was completely mesmerized by them.  Music + dancing = right up my alley!  I can't wait to hit up the fair again next year!

Serious pony rider.

Cheese!

Driving the train.  I did this ride several times, and I always had to be the driver because the driver gets to ring a really cool bell!

2nd visit started with another pony ride!  :)

Aftin and I riding in the airplanes.  This one made our parents a little nervous, especially when we both started goofing around and standing up on the ride.

Checking out the pigs.  (I had to get a close-up of every single pig!)

Being silly!

Making some new friends!

2 1/2 Year Pictures

Mommies recently had Kim Gould do 2 1/2 year old pictures of me at Apple River Park in Amery.  They decided it was a good opportunity to do one last photo shoot with me prior to my brother getting here.  The biggest difference between this photo shoot and my photo shoots in the past was that I learned how to say "cheese".  My "cheese" face is quite .... exaggerated, as you can see below.  :)  Mommies love it though and are so happy with the way the pictures turned out!  Next photo shoot with Kim will be a newborn one in October!!

Fun Fest Kiddie Parade - Future Olympians!

With the Summer Olympics just around the corner, Aunt Becky and Aunt Kelly decided it would be fun to entere all of us kids into the New Richmond Fun Fest Kiddie parade using a "Future Olympians" theme!  It all came together really well considering the parade was on Saturday and they decided to do this on Thursday.  Mommies are biased, but they actually think we had the best theme out of everyone in the parade.  I went as a track & field athlete, Ella and Leyton were tennis players, Lauren was a swimming, Lucy was a gymnast, Grace was a soccer player and Luca and Cal were baseball players.  (oh, and Joey was in it too - he was a baseball player!)

Track and Field Star sporting Mommy's old New Richmond jersey.  :)

I walked for the first part of the parade ... then Kelly carried me the rest of the way.  I imagine her arms were burning by the end of it!  Thanks for the lift!  :)

Me and Kelly nearing the end!  :)

Baby Shower for my Little Brother!

On our last evening at the lake, Grandma and Gigi threw Mommies a surprise baby shower for my baby brother!  All of the ladies (and Graham!) got together to open gifts and celebrate!  Grandma, Gigi and all of the cousins were way too generous!  Mommies can't believe how much nice stuff they gave to him.  But that wasn't all, I got a few "big sister" gifts too!  Gigi got me an adorable ballerina doll and Katie and Kristin got me a beautiful pink crown that I absolutely love!  Thank you to everyone for being so thoughtful!

Look at the adorable cake!  I especially loved the teddy bear on top!

A pic of some of the gifts!

Me and Mommies.

To say I was really "into" the whole baby shower thing would be an understatement.

Grandma and Gigi - the lovely hostesses!

Kristin and Katie.

Holding up my ballerina doll from Gigi.  I wish you could have seen my excited/surprised face when I first opened it.  It was priceless!  (so says Mommy)

Holding up an adorable "Little Brother" onesie from Grandma!

Being me.

Great shot of all of the ladies!

The Pirates Came Again!

Mama and Papa have some treasure chests at their house, and every once in a while, pirates sneak in the house and fill the chests with treasures.  On our last day at the lake, Mama thought she heard the pirates when us kids were napping, so when we got up from nap, we all checked out the chests, and sure enough, they had left treasures for us!

What did they leave us this time?

Gold coins and Chinese handcuffs!  My fingers are a bit too small for the handcuffs, but I'm sure I'll love them once I can figure out how they work.  :)  Thanks, pirates!

Fourth of July

The holidays are always such a fun time at the lake, and 4th of July was no exception!  By the time the actual 4th rolled around, most of my Morawitz and Berkie cousins were at the lake, so it was such a blast!  We spent the whole morning and afternoon swimming and boating.  In the afternoon, Aunt Gigi had all of us make posters, then we took our posters and had our own little 4th of July parade around the neighborhood!  Mommy's weren't sure how I'd do during the parade keeping up with some of the older kids, but I held my own!  Mommy's loved how proud I looked holding up my sign.  :)  After the parade, we hung out, played and had a great dinner before heading to bed.  Can't wait for our next trip to the lake!!

Driving Papa's boat.

Stopping to pose for a picture after an afternoon full of swimming!

Holding up my maraca during the parade.  :)

Marching through the neighborhood.

"Hey guys, wait up!"

The heat eventually took it's toll on us, so Brian drove most of us back on the golf cart.

Back at the house, playing with the trucks and the rock pit.

Did I mention it was hot outside?  Mommy had been inside for a while and came out to find me like this.

Being silly.

Cold water feels SO good!

Hanging out with Jake and Charlie.

Giving Katie a squeeze.
