On 6/27/13 Thomas Jon turned 9 months. The night of his 9 month birthday he crawled
3-4 steps forward! He likes to go 3-4
crawls and then dive forward superman-style for whatever he is after. A plate of food or a glass of milk seem to
really motivate him. :) We were letting Maggie eat chicken nuggets in the living room the other night and as soon as we brought Maggie’s plate in
and set it down, Tommy took off, it was the fastest/most motivated we had ever
seen him! I think his crawling would be further
along if he hadn't started pulling himself up on everything. Almost seems like he would rather pull
himself up than crawl around. He has started to talk a lot more, nothing understandable
yet but his babbling is getting louder and more consistent. He loves swinging in the big bucket swing on
the play set…laughs and laughs when Maggie gives him “fast pushes”.
This was for sure the hardest month so far to get him to try and sit still for pictures
